The mission of our social enterprise is to create impact on both social and economic factors of the society in the sustainable way. The long-term social impact is to develop the capacity of local people to build and maintain a healthy, safe, economically prosperous and vibrant society encouraging them to participate in social entrepreneurship and establishing SMEs, which will eventually help in reducing poverty from the society by developing sustainable employment. We also hope to build long-term positive collaborative relationships with the existing local, national and international markets to promote the craft business.
Our enterprise creates revenue by selling the handicrafts that are produced in Nepal. At present the products are being sold in the UK market, hoping to go internationally in the near future. We sell the crafts that are of high-quality and with reasonable prices. The main difference between us and other enterprises or competitors is that we are social entrepreneurs who care about society and we aim to work towards making the healthy society reducing poverty from it.
The social enterprise has to be sustainable financially. The profits earned from the business will be re-invested as well as the external grants plus the investors are highly welcomed for the sustainability of the enterprise.
